Hey I’m James and just in case this is your first time visiting my Alliance leveling guide blog let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’ve been playing Wow for the last five years originally starting in 2005 as a Ret pally. That first toon took me over 32 days to level to level 60. So, you might be downright amazed to hear that the last character I leveled hit 80 in just over 2 days play time; not 60 but 80. Sounds pretty good right? Allow me to show you how I did it!
As someone who has been playing Wow for a long time I’ve leveled a lot of characters and I’ll admit I can level a character from 1-80 a whole lot faster than the 32 days it originally took me to level my Paladin to 60. Things have changed in game since then that have made leveling a whole lot faster and easier.
Now, with that being said an experienced player should be able to make his/her way to level 80 in under 15 days play time fairly easily. So why then did I choose to spend my money on an alliance leveling guide? That’s a great question and I’ll get to that in just a few moments.
Here is the Problem…
There are so many great players in World of Warcraft and many of them have figured out a way to cash in on their gaming skill. Now, all of these players are probably great at Wow but not all of them have done a good job in transferring their ideas into useful guides. A lot of the alliance leveling guides out there are pretty bad. Almost all will give you some kind of boost to leveling on your own but if you are going to buy something you really should get the best bang for your buck.
It is exactly this reason that caused me to take the top alliance and horde leveling guides on the market and tear them to pieces in search of the best one. I did actual in game testing on these guides to see how much they helped or hurt.
So What Happened?
I looked at several of the top alliance leveling guides out there and soon found out that many of them were bordering on scams. They were actually full of information that you can find for free on several different websites including thotbot, Wowhead, etc. I wasn’t just disappointed; I was down right pissed off. I immediately asked for a refund and am relieved to say that the majority of vendors did honor their money back guarantees.
In the end it was only two guides that lived up to challenge both of which are “in-game” leveling guides. This means that instead of being a pdf that requires you to alt tab in and out to read the in-game guides have step by step directions on what to do including where and when to pick up questions.
The first of these guides was Zygor’s Leveling Guide and the second Dugi’s Leveling Guide. Both of these guides did an excellent job of greatly speeding up my leveling times. To read an overview of Zygors leveling guide scroll down this page a bit. For right now I want to tell you about Dugi’s leveling guide because it is the better of these two premiums guides.
Dugi’s Ultimate Wow Guide
So the first thing that I want to point out about Dugi’s Alliance leveling guide is its so much more than that. When you purchase the leveling guide you also get Dugi’s Pvp guide which sold seperately for more than $30 for several months before fierce competition between Zygor and Dugi led Dugi to include it with his leveling guides. Not only does he throw in his Pvp guide but also his macro guide, class guides, in-game talent guide, over 20 video tutorials on fast dailies, and an online seasonal events guide. This is the exact reason I recommend Dugi’s guide over Zygors.
The second reason I recommend Dugi’s guide is because it is more flexible. If you are a player who likes to quest and do things solo you can follow Dugi’s traditional in-game leveling guide that got me to 80 in just over 2 days but if you prefer groups and playing with others Dugi is releasing a brand spanking new Dungeon leveling guide that promises to level even faster than his traditional guide. The dungeon leveling guide is set to release on May 25, 2010.
My Results
Here is a screenshot of the paladin I leveled using Dugi’s Alliance Leveling Guide. I used Bind on Account gear and had a trial refer a friend acct for the first 34 levels. I hit 80 in 2 days 4 hours play time.
The Conclusion?
Well, after testing half a dozen or so guides I can honestly say that either Dugi’s Alliance Leveling Guide or Zygors Alliance Leveling Guide will treat you right but Dugi offers so many more bonuses that its just so much more bang for your buck. I highly recommend Dugi’s guide and if for some reason you were not happy with it remember that Dave Farrell Aka Dugi offers an 8 week money back guarantee.
